Signature JMK in Minocqua

Not worth the visit. Way overpriced. $9 for a grilled cheese sandwich and two tablespoons of slaw.....no chips, no fries. Will not return.

First class breakfast fare, best from scratch muffins and whipped cream/butter and great coffee.

The food is wonderful, staff is great. Eating outdoors and watching the lake is such a treat. But the ambiance inside is also relaxing if you can't eat outside. Love coming here!

Very limited sandwich selections (4) that do not change and are just average. The breakfast selections are very tasty though and can be ordered for lunch. If you order a soda you get the small (7.5 oz) cans. My sister ordered a latte and she said that it was too sweet.The best thing about this place is the view and the building which used to be an old maternity hospital.

Perfect restaurant for breakfast or lunch! Great service, amazing food and walkable location to downtown Minocqua. I would highly recommend visiting this gem.

Terrific custom and unique menu for breakfast and lunch, all homemade, and the muffins are terrific, too. The outdoor seating makes it a great experience. Don't be fooled by the non-discript exterior -- it's a favorite place to eat.

Really a great place. It takes a lot of work to maintain outdoor seating and landscape especially in the North woods of WI. It's clean with an awesome view. Truly a most excellent place to enjoy coffee

We stumbled on it and what a find! Had their white chicken and their grilled cheese sandwiches with fresh fruits side. Both were excellent. We added a small bottle of their rose and voila ! A perfect lunch! Highly recommended little gem with wonderful service.

This is by far the best breakfast place in Minocqua! You must try the Blueberry/Peach French Toast its simply heavenly 😊 I ordered it three times while we visited as I could not get enough. Baked eggs and the 1927 Sandwich were delicious and bursting with flavor. If you're looking for a gourmet not your ordinary breakfast than you must try this place.The owner Joanie was a very gracious host and chef Carl makes everything from scratch including the bread they use for their sandwiches. The place is quaint and inviting. Opt out from the ordinary and step into JMK!

My first/last impression is that they don’t want to be in business. Rude, inept staff. Illogical way to order with no host, sign or other indication that you wait in what looks like a coffee to go line to place order without menus. Then try to find a seat. We sat outside facing lake on an uncomfortable bench that defied gravity and made it almost impossible to eat. And they couldn’t find us to deliver our food despite the fact we told them we were seated outside with our number in plain view, they still gave our food to another table until we flagged them down. They gave the impression they couldn’t care less about us or providing decent service. Mediocre food.

Was a nice quiet place to get coffee and view the lake.
